Stella Guan is an award-winning multidisciplinary designer creating visually-compelling, functional and storytelling-inspired design.

After a decade in Corporate America working as a designer for top creative agencies and Fortune 500 in-house creative teams, Stella founded Path Unbound, a company providing equitable paths for creative education.

She was an adjunct faculty at Fashion Institute of Technology, New York College of Technology and Lead Visual Design Instructor at General Assembly.

Originally from China, she moved to the United States with a full scholarship at the age of 18 to pursue her undergraduate degree at La Salle University in Philadelphia.

In recent years, Stella has expanded her design skills to furniture design and fashion design. She is launching an affordable and multi-functional mid-century modern furniture brand, Not Ordinary Home, with her father, in 2021.

Stella has lived in the New York City area for 10 years and currently lives in Los Angeles. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, Korean and English.
